Wedding season is upon us, and plenty of brides are choosing their final looks for their big days. There’s so much inspiration out there, and the looks celebrities are splurging their cash on is a major draw for wedding mood boards for brides-to-be.

Naturally beautiful x Meghan Markle
With all of the contouring, strobing and coverage of some modern looks, it’s safe to say that Meghan wowed us with her natural and beautiful royal wedding day makeup look. She chose to keep things ultra-modern with barely-there skin and soft, fluttery lashes – she was ‘no-makeup makeup’ personified. We were even able to see her natural, cute freckles peeking through! A pop of pink is all it takes to achieve blushing-bride status, and a touch of cream blush will deliver the perfect flash of radiance.
Glittery highlight x Georgia Steel
We’ve all been glued to our TV sets for this year’s Love Island and the antics in the Villa. Some of the make up looks the girls have created have been really interesting. The Villa’s most loyal girl of the series, Georgia Steel, has had us all mesmerised with her makeup trick to brighten and open up her eyes. She’s recently spilled the beans to OK! Magazine, and explains that she uses glittery eyeliner on her top and bottom lashes to get the look. She then disguises the glitter with further eyeshadow to ensure only a small amount of the glitter pops through.
Dewy complexion x Karlie Kloss
Beautiful dewy skin is at the top of all celebrity wishlists at the moment. Make like Karlie and find that lit-from-within glow. There’s a fine line though, between achieving the look or ending up looking like a disco ball! Less is definitely more, and prep is everything. Using something such as Becca’s First Light Priming Filter will lay the foundation for the glow, with a small amount of highlighter where the light hits your bone structure doing the rest of the work.
Pop of colour x Lily Collins
Lily Collins attended the Miu Miu 2019 Cruise Collection Show in Paris recently, with a striking look. She had shimmering lids of a pale turquoise shade. Her eyes were opened up and brightened with a white eyeliner along her bottom waterline, with lashings of mascara. Perhaps too bold a look for a wedding day, but don’t be afraid of adding coloured eyeshadow for an unexpected look.
